Cluster Hat Version 2.5 by 8086 Consultancy
The Cluster HAT interfaces a (Controller) Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2/3/4 with up to 4 Raspberry Pi Zeros (1.1/1.2 or W) configured to use USB Gadget mode, and is an ideal tool for teaching or testing small-scale clusters.
Features
- USB Gadget Mode: Ethernet and Serial Console.
- Onboard 4-port USB 2.0 hub.
- Raspberry Pi Zeros powered via Controller Pi GPIO
- Individual Raspberry Pi Zero power controlled via Controller Pi GPIO (I2C).
- Connector for Controller Serial Console (our USB Serial Adaptor or a Sparkfun FTDI Basic).
- Controller Pi can be rebooted without interrupting power to Pi Zeros (network recovers on boot)
This feature is not available when using a RPi 4 controller! - 2-pin (0.1" pitch) header for FAN (200mA max, controlled by GPIO BCM18).
The Cluster HAT is also available in a Cluster Kit that comes with four Pi Zero W.
